Piano
Fredrik teaches piano to incorporate a holistic view of the student. He also teaches piano online or via email or in groups of up to 2 students at a time, which is more cost effective. The teaching includes for example physical practice, music theory, mental attitude, body awareness, improvising, playing by ear and sight-reading. Piano playing demands a lot of our attention and capacity, and by approaching it from different angles it allows better joyful learning. In Tune provides a different approach to all students, as we are all different. Fredrik currently has students of all levels and ages, a fair portion are adults who have taken on piano at a later stage in life. For children the only requirement is that they have turned 7 and have a genuine wish to play.
Singing
Very few people, unfortunately, like their own voice, and therefore "protect" it by trying to sound like someone else, closing the mouth, singing breathy, tensing all kinds of weird and wonderful muscles, or by using mental attitudes like "I can't sing" which for most people is an outright lie. Consequently the voice sounds strange and it makes singing difficult. Fredrik helps to enjoy singing and use our natural voice and true potential. Singing can be highly beneficial and joyful. Why stop ourselves from doing it? Fredrik has recently made "Your Voice" - a CD with basic steps to teach yourself to sing. It can even be used for warmup. This CD can be purchased through In Tune at £9.50.

Bassoon
If you play the bassoon or if you are interested in learning, Fredrik has a lot of experience from being a professional bassoon player around the Nordic Countries and in England for many years. Bassoon is a lovely instrument and has the advantage of being used in different settings and with different functions - both a base instrument that sometimes plays the melodies and sometimes support other instruments and singers. With Fredrik you can learn from scratch or get professional tips depending on the level you are at.
Prices
- Half Hour - £14.00
- 45 Minutes - £21.00
For groups of 2 or more the price is same with an added £1 per extra student. Thus, it will cost £7.50 per person (£15/2) for 2 students to come together for half an hour. If 10 Students come for singing lessons as a group they will pay £2.40 for half an hour (£24/10).
